Your Answer: The article said they were great supporters of the closure slaughter markets ….. So the T-bone dude and his wife is in part responsible for the collapse of the horse market. The slaughter / recycle regular markets open markets in all, including horses. 1000's of jobs were lost and look at the mess the closure of markets has led to slaughter! 30,000 calls "savage" BLM horses can not take out ….. Firstly there are no true wild horses running in the U.S. on public lands. They are the wild horses of many different sources. Feral. No wild creatures as deer and elk, but wild. Boars means that either are abandoned by their owners first and had to learn to fend for themselves and inadvertently became a wild lack of human contact, or were released when no longer of any use to which he had first so many years ago, or simply escaped and became wild. Here in eastern Oregon, southern Idaho, Nevada, and many farmers are shot and throw a Mustang stallion stallion thoroughbred every two years! This was clear in the late 80's! The horses were of many different races, Arabian, Thoroughbred, QH, the Draft stallions, Appaloosa stallions and Morgan. Everyone turned loose with little flocks of wild mares. A ranch that was in the herd in Utah Mustang even stole some of our ranch mares! They beat our national QH stud and took the mares that go with it! BLM has sold all foreign markets and used the money to care for the current population of wild horses on public lands. It is time however that one of the benefactors approaches the plate and put their money where their mouth is.
