There was an article in the Trib a few days ago. When Bob Dole was running for president, asked the tanker T. Boone Pickens to run his campaign in Texas. In return Pickens I wanted to write the energy policy that Dole may arise. Dole replied: "There on the floor, a sleeping dog. Politicians are not needed Sleeping Dogs. Bill Clinton did not give a damn about energy and I do not. We are neither gooona kick a sleeping dog and so energy will not be a problem in this campaign. Our elected officials do the same with other problems. We are creating a nation that does not manufacture anything, provides an enormous wealth for some and poverty for others, makes even care basic healthcare unaffordable for millions, and are building a mountain of debt for the next generation to pay!
We can do better.
Or are we willing to continue to let sleeping dogs lie?
