I live in Phoenix, Arizona and say that a typical installation costs $ 5000. Phoenix is well worth it and it sounds cheap in many places costwise benefits are questionable if you make large solar panels on your roof to get free hot water and a cooler house because the roof is really cold water and saves money on A / C
