Im 21 years old right now. I want to start my solar plant energy. I want to buy land and buy a bunch of solar power. I want my own solar energy harvest and then sell power to PG & E. Is it difficult to open this business? What do I need? I become rich off of it? The reason I thought this reason because in America we keep talking about global warming and not have enought power.
the agreement with PG & E is going to reduce your bill by the amount energy they generate. But will not pay for any extras. If you're thinking of hiring a business, that rate is going to pay way less than what they charge at home. Do you realize that someone has to pay for all transmission cables, etc. so far, including payment systems only home for themselves because of government subsidies. when all costs are taken into account, they lose money, even with PG & E pay the retail price of electricity. So no, you can not do money on this.
