solar power electricity

We are looking at buying a home and renovation, and wonder about using solar or wind energy to power large part of our house. We will have a well, be on a septic system, a wood stove for heating the house, so we would have energy solar or wind power so we can use electricity as little as possible (its incredibly expensive here!). We also have our appliances (refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, freezer). How much would a basic package to be for 900 square feet, 3 bedrooms? For any of the wind turbines or solar panels and of the necessary equipment? I'm in southern Ontario. Thanks!
