solar electric circuits help?
I want to build a circuit in a series of solar panels 1.5 engine, can someone please point me in the right direction please?
If you mean engine of 1.5 horsepower that this might help: 1 HP (horsepower) = 746 watts 1.5 * 746 = 1119 watts you use 200w solar panels, it takes at least 6 of them gives you 1200 watts. If the motor is 120 volts and the panels are 20 volts then you need to connect everyone in series to get 120 volts to the motor. Now that's DC motor. If the motor is AC, then you have an investor. All the solar panels off DC voltages. AC Inverters convert DC (direct current to alternating current). Hope this helps.
