solar panel degradation

Three survey builds – please only honest answers?
Yes or no, why or why not. Thank you all. 1. Are you worried about depleting the planet of fossil fuels and pollution problems, environmental degradation, resource wars, etc? 2. Is the change to a renewable source of energy for your home in their plans over the next five years? 3. Would you like to switch to solar electric panels (photovoltaic panels) if you do not have to pay more than they now pay for electricity? (No investment, installation or maintenance cost)
1. yes 2.No. because it did three years ago. Husband is currently working on a new wind turbine design. 3. I currently pay nothing, would be happy to install more panels if you pay me to install! I think that their questions do not cover the situation of existing users of solar energy! Moreover comment: our system only just works for us, minimal use of household electricity and live in sunny South Australia. In winter we need to boost power with a gasoline generator maybe a couple of times a week. (No Be environmentally friendly, but better than using candles for lighting!) We use gas to heat water for the kitchen fridge and all the electricity works lights, TV, computer. The heating is wood stove, the wood comes from our property, which is large enough to provide enough to keep us in comfort while still growing more slowly trees and reforestation. On a cloudy / cold / higher latitude area that would be very little benefit in winter a household, even if the house was full of panels. In summer it could work for most people. A good system is to have panels, but still connected to the network of emergency backup, and get a refund for the electricity company of the energy put back into the system.
