How can I make the flow of water through a solar panel in a laboratory experiment?
Hello, if I were to do a laboratory experiment on how to find the energy conversion rate for a solar panel (a set of pipes), how can I make the cold water (from a glass at one end) The flux through the panel? After the hot water at the other end? Please advise, thank you very much!
Gravity. Since there are to be able to heat water to boil, use a funnel and a key valve on top. Probably will not get an accurate reading unless you have enough water to completely fill the system, so you'll need a key at the bottom. Measure the temperature change over the H20, say, 5 minutes. (Fill in system, wait 5 minutes, the drainage system and temperature measured at the outflow.) And, if possible, the use of copper – better heat absorption.
