Investor in a refrigerator running?
We purchased a Westinghouse refrigerator 310 liters. Can anyone tell me if it happens in a 3,600-watt inverter that is connected to a battery bank of 12 volt, 2 being powered by 2 wind turbines and two solar panels. We are not connected to the network, and our house is very small, so do not use much electricity. All help appreciated. Thank you!
I'm going to guess that your refrigerator uses about 800 watts, is likely to consume less, but is a reasonable assumption. That make the game, also known as inrush current or increase of 4,800 watts. Your investment of 3600 Watts probably has an increasing number of close to it. You're cutting close. I would not, because the refrigeration compressor motors are not designed to operate outside investors. Engines designed to operate with additional insulation investors to make the change. In plain English the compressor motor will be short-lived. If you want to avoid the problem you will need to put an isolation transformer between the inverter and power supply.
