Wiring in solar panels?
I'm looking for the wires in some solar panels on my house. I have a lot of cables, and some solar panels around. Just need to know what I do to wire them in my house so I can lower my electric bill. This month was six hundred dollars. Can someone guide me to some information, or tell me how to hire me without saying a guy to go out and charge me thirty thousand U.S. dollars to install two or three thousand dollars in equipment?
The essential thing is to connect the panels in a configuration that matches the investor. My system has twenty 24-volt panels in series to an investor who wants see 480. It could have been in any series-parallel configuration to match an investor using different voltage. I chose the route of high voltage to reduce IR losses in the connections. The right investor is critical in networked systems. Must able to disconnect from the network if the power grid fails, and back on line automatically, and in phase. There must be a fuse between the panels and inverter. When the connection to the network, one fuse is needed. My company energy was very specific about the switches acceptable.
