solar cell film

The solar cells …?
Solar cells are devices that generate electricity when light is exposed to it. They are coated transparent thin film of silicon monoxide (Sio, n = 1.5), to reduce glare. Suppose you are designing a solar cell silicon (Si, n = 3.5), what is the minimum thickness that can be applied to the cell surface that cause the least amount of reflection for the 552 nm light, which is near the center of the visible spectrum? Suppose n air = 1.0. Why minimize the reflection of solar cell? Explain. Thank you!
Do not know the appropriate formula to calculate what the least amount of silicon monoxide needed to produce the least amount of reflection. But after the second part of the question. The more light reflected, less light is being absorbed by the solar cell. Less light is being absorbed by the solar cell, the less light energy is transformed into another type by the solar cell. In other words, the more light reflected, less efficient solar cell is, as to produce electricity.
