Marketing 40% efficiency of solar cells by Emcore Corp., which the current situation?
I am interested in knowing if anyone would tell me the current market / commercializaition (pardon my misuse of terms of business, not a business person of substance) of the holder of the current record of more efficiency high solar cell which was found by Spectrolab in collaboration with the National renewable energy laboratory (NREL, USA). Can anyone give me some reference, in particular the successful implementation of solar cells in homes, businesses, etc. and installation costs compared to existing solar energy technologies (mainly of silicon which are not very effective).
