Is it right to charge a device to 4.5-4.8 volts to charge their batteries when running on 5 volts?
I'm pretty sure this is OK, but I'd like another opinion to back me up, so do not want to destroy an expensive battery. If the power supply is a 5V charger is that load can give from 4.5 to 5 volts. Since power comes from a solar cell of the V is fluctuating around a lot it would be great if you give a link to a show a circuit diagram or to maintain well-regulated (This second part is optional).
No problem, less is more thin is dangerous. They have a solar charger for portabhle laptop now that is really neat.
