When we talk about renewable energy that we refer to power that delivers energy from resources that will not be reduced because of our use of them. Renewable energy is an alternative to nonrenewable fossil fuel energy for reasons other than the exhaustion factor.
One of the basic benefits renewable energy, and the reason for environmentalists around the world promoting its use, do not emit greenhouse gases and other harmful pollutants like by-products of combustion of fossil fuels for energy.
