I am research scholar working in dye-sensitized solar cells, so how do I join any industry body can help me?
As a researcher, you undoubtedly know the journals that publish papers in your area. Has authored or co-author of any document on your own? Did you attend academic conferences and industry and did everything possible to seize the opportunities of networking? Are their recent high school graduates currently employed in the industry? You may be less familiar with commercial aspects. I suggest doing a thorough search of patents granted and applied. This should give a clear idea what are companies doing active research in their field. Once you have a list, visit their websites and study their annual reports to try to assemble a ranking of sales. Then start at the top and back to their websites for information on recruitment. And if not already done so, give your resume vitae a complete rewrite and post it on Monster.com. Be careful to remain factual and honest.
