If Boone Pickens' Plan T. is so great, how come he is not putting any windmills on his ranch? ?

Everyone has to do "secrets of oil" on Modern Marvels (History Channel). oil is going to make many more terrible things than gasoline and diesel. Do not know why not put windmills on their property, but I gladly put them on mine if they worked, did little noise, and kept my electric bill each month.
